My Assault.

The gun control debate is turning into something much more than infuriating for gun control advocates, it's turning into a call to arms, and it should, because the abuses of the American Government and the abuses of the current and previous administrations in regards to Constitutional rights and transparency are overwhelming. The abuses of all governments against human rights throughout History is overwhelming. We have reached a breaking point in this country where many people are ready to go to war, and it seems that the political discourse in this country has not been in over a decade to stand united, but to divide and conquer politically, turning the entire fabric of American society  into a volatile debate, where people of the same background and nation can't seem to agree on anything. Of course, we are not an informed society any longer, we are a society that is spoon fed ideas until we vomit the one-liners and disconnected points of sarcastic pundits on both sides, broadcasted nightly on our "news" channels. This article is much more than a support piece of those who wish to keep assault rifles, extended mags, and all other forms of assault weapons that leftists can't seem to fathom are not for hunting; it is a list of grievances of those who do and will not ever trust government to have a monopoly on violence and should not; it is also a list of Constitutional and human rights abuses that have been dismantled very recently by our faltering Republic.

Fast and Furious: Both Obama and Bush took part in this scandal, where thousands of assault rifles were sold at gun shows to drug cartel members and taken back to Mexico, seems to be a plus for the argument to have criminal background checks and tighten up laws on gun shows, except that many of the salespersons were agents of the ATF, and the ATF itself oversaw the sales and transportation of the weapons. The operations blew wide open after Border Patrol officer Brian Terry was shot and killed by a Mexican drug cartel member, bearing a rifle that came from the operation. It was not transparency of the government or a inquisitive media that uncovered this story, but multiple ATF whistle blowers.

Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder both denied involvement or knowledge of the operation, one would think Agent Vince Cefalu, who helped publicize the operation would be honored by the administration for bringing integrity to the agency if they in fact had no knowledge, Cefalu was instead was terminated. Here is an excerpt from John Dodson regarding the operation.

 "Over the course of the next 10 months that I was involved in this operation, we monitored as they purchased hand guns, AK-47 variants, and .50 caliber rifles almost daily. Rather than conduct any enforcement actions, we took notes, we recorded observations, we tracked movements of these individuals for a short time after their purchases, but nothing more. Knowing all the while, just days after these purchases, the guns that we saw these individuals buy would begin turning up at crime scenes in the United States and Mexico, we still did nothing. ...

I cannot begin to think of how the risk of letting guns fall into the hands of known criminals could possibly advance any legitimate law enforcement interest."

During a Congressional hearing, Eric Holder was threatened with contempt of court for refusing to turn over documents requested from his office for the investigation. He denied any part of the operation, but refused to cooperate. He was the first cabinet member in U.S. History to be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with a subpoena. Instead of overseeing a real investigation into the matter, Obama declared Executive Privilege over the requested documents, eliminating the subpoena, and essentially covering up any real chance of proving his or Holder's involvement in the operation.

This is the way the administration that promises "action" in terms of gun control operates.

Yesterday, it was uncovered by Vice President Joe Biden that Obama is mulling over the option of using an Executive Order for the purpose of gun control...meaning Obama would bypass the lawmaking body of the United States and use his own power to go above the public, Congress and Senate, to enact a law enforced by the federal government over local and state governments. This is the type of abuse of power that wishes to spearhead gun control.

The last few Executive Orders Obama signed had the ACLU inflamed. One authorized the continued "indefinite detention" of suspects in Guantanamo without trial, judge, or jury, a legal process far from being in line with the legal principles our country was founded upon, policies carried over from the Bush Administration. These are the thugs that wish to spearhead gun control against U.S. citizens.

Another previous Executive Order gave Obama the sole right to order the assassination of any person in or outside the United States, whether they be foreign or an American citizen. This set a major precedent, giving the President the legal authority to authorize the murder of a U.S. citizen without trial judge or jury. This is the power hungry man who wishes to bypass all legalities set for hundreds of years before him to assume a very dangerous power without public outcry or debate, without the OK from any legislative body. This is the man who has promised to "do something" about gun violence in America. If he is willing to pass laws of this extremity, using his assumed and illegal authority to bypass Congress, one can surely doubt he will look at the gun control law with little prudence.

Obama also started an illegal war in Libya without Congressional consent, the war was not publicized or scrutinized much by the media, nor was the President's decision to once again abuse his Executive power, this time by bypassing the War Powers Act of 1973. Twenty-three people died in Sandy Hook, Huffington Post admitted the death toll in Libya could have reached 30,000. This is the government who wishes to curtail gun violence.

In 2012, the U.S. made $66 billion in arms sales, second place was Russia with $4.8 billion, THIS is the government that wishes to disarm it's public. This government is concerned about citizens with assault rifles and extended magazines, but will sell them and much larger weapon systems, jets, tanks, bombs, etc. to countries like Saudi Arabia, the ONLY country in the world who accepts Wahhabism as it's national religion (the most extreme sect of Islam, death to infidels). It's safe to say our government has much more than the blood of twenty children on it's hands.

It has been said the 2nd amendment is used to protect the 1st. We have seen all too well how much this government respects our 1st amendment, as we see protestors in situations like Occupy Wall Street, or the G8 Summit, pepper sprayed, beaten, hit with rubber bullets, tear gas, and technology used to deafen protestors. None of these means of suppression are deemed safe, nor are they indicative of a government that supports peaceful dissent. This is the government that wishes to curtail our 2nd Amendment.

Our right to privacy has been destroyed in the past decade, as it is completely legal for the government to tap our phones and emails, and they do. NSA whistle blower William Binney said "Everyone" is under U.S. surveillance, and continued to say, "They're violating the foundation of this entire country...why this entire government was formed - it's founded with the Constitution and the rights given to the people in the country, under that constitution. They're in violation of that." This is the same government that wishes to begin their version of gun control.

Should we shift gears to the TSA? Another federal entity that uses our own fear, the deepest of human emotion to enact right-shattering laws and agencies that incrementally destroy everything that makes us free and different from authoritarian countries across the world. The Bush administration managed to stop a major terror attack from occurring after 9/11 without the body scanners, but after our number one enemy, Osama Bin Laden had been slain, we are to believe X-raying our entire bodies is making us safer. Though X-rays were dulled down only a few short years ago by the use of lead to protect our bodies, we are now to blindly trust these same machines without protection, and for the frequent traveler, endure this over and over. This is an insane idea, it is unbelievably irresponsible, and if you refuse the radiation, you can be stripped down nude in front of the general public and embarrassed, regardless if you are a five year old child or a ninety year old woman, this is the same federal government that wished to act now in regards to gun control. 

Do you see a pattern? The intention of an armed citizenry was not for "hunting" and it was not for "protection from burglar" it was to give the public the ability to overthrow oppression. This is the stated reason, Governor Andrew Cuomo came out yesterday and posed the question "Do you need ten bullets to kill a deer?" This is how detached these people are, this is how detached they understand YOU are. One by one our rights are being stripped away and have been since 9/11, and we are told it is for our own protection, when it is becoming obvious who are real enemies are, because there are plenty of things the government has taken from me as a citizen, including the neutering of public dissent, that a Muslim in the caves of Afghanistan could never touch. 

Our government, without any Democratic process whatsoever, has turned us into a country that believes it is OK to assassinate, that believes it is OK to detain people for the rest of their lives without trial, that believes it is OK to violently suppress those who march peacefully, who believes it is OK to overthrow governments and bomb countries without an Act of War, who believes it is OK to strip search children and grandmas, who thinks it is OK, to arm dictatorships and disarm its citizenry, who thinks it is OK, to authorize one man to shut down the internet at the push of a button, who thinks it is OK to sell weapons to international gangsters who murder children and women daily in Mexico, who think it is OK to disobey orders to submit documents important to investigations, who believe it is OK to have leaders constantly break laws as we are the world's biggest prison population. 

This could go on and on, we haven't even touched how corrupt New York politics are, and how they are spearheading the disarmament, we haven't even begun to discuss the constant overstepping of Mayor Bloomberg's boundaries as he led his own private sting operation at a gun show in Arizona to incriminate people outside of his city, his county, his state, his time zone. We haven't begun to discuss what companies the likes of Andrew Cuomo or Charles Schumer work for (Con Edison) and we surely have not even begun to discuss the use of unmanned drones and torture tactics, and how a vocal advocate of both was just named by Obama to head the CIA, (John Brennan). We haven't discussed the policies and the irresponsible arms sales to kids in Africa by our government, or kids anywhere around the world, we will sell assault rifles and hand grenades to children in jungles and deserts across the world, but our leaders are focused on taking them from educated and informed American citizens, and it isn't because of the massacre at Sandy Hook, or in Colorado. Those psychopaths just did their part to speed up an agenda that was already on the table.

Wake up people, you have been suckers, and slaves to your own fear since that one fateful day at ten o'clock in the morning on a Tuesday. Now every Tuesday at 10AM has become another day to push you against the wall and dictate to you what must be done and what must be taken, to ensure you will wake up next Tuesday at 10AM. Surely you cannot be protected by these people, ask those in Katrina if government helped, if they felt safe because of government. All signs point that it is the very people who claim they are protecting us that are selling us down the river, bankrupting us through their immature economic policies and tax laws, putting us at danger with their ridiculous covert operations and bolstering of unstable entities around the world, their constant pandering in other nations affairs, unintended consequences that repeat themselves so often that they can hardly be seen as unintended anymore.

Any Executive Order in regards to gun control will result in the death of much more than 23 people. Any attempt by the federal government to create a law that will have the ATF or any other agency assaulting homes to confiscate weapons will turn into a civil war, for those of you who choose to keep your head in the sand and choose to ignore the reality of the country we live in, I am telling you, those days will com to an abrupt end.
